An avid gardener, Grey's passion for beautiful flowers echoes in her large floral portraits. She enjoys painting garden expanses, but delights in the intimate, close-up view of any one particular flower. Inspiration strikes when the right combination of light, atmosphere and angle in her garden reveals the penultimate floral image. "While I lived in Salisbury I was so very blessed to have a flower farm as a neighbor. I loved to hear the tractors turning the earth and the vocalizations of the resident menagerie.
